Thanks for posting on the Microsoft Translator forum.
The app itself does not have an option to shut the sound off. However in the audio settings for your device, you will probably have 3 or 4 different sliders for the volume and one of them should affect the shutter sound.

Camera translations can translate photos but not screenshots
suggest support PNG pictures in camera mode.
since the default screenshot format is png
Translations on WeChat are indeed limited.
You can translate a message that is in a different language to you device language.
The other way around it does not work. You cannot share a message you have translated directly to WeChat as it will give you an error message.
The workaround is to select the text and use copy and paste.
Best regards, Gwenda, Microsoft Translator Team

provide gender of the translated words
Peace: May I ask whether you update the version can be improved, to increase some of the personal use of text storage dictionary features, to facilitate the voice input function, the display is the use of personal text, such as: some names, some professional nouns, some less familiar with the text, can be used in the personal use of text storage dictionary, after the voice input allows to apply their own text storage dictionary, so that is not the voice input is not the correct text of our request, thank you for your understanding and reference to improve
Please make the offline dictionaries available offline so I can see more translations for every word
The app has no syntax protocals. It also offers only one translation of a word. A dictionary might have 6 meanings for one word. The Yucatec Maya is unforgiving with spelling. Most Mayas cannot write it. Therefore, it is hard to search a word when you are not sure of accents or long vowels...

I would also like it if the American Eva and David voices were used for English translations.
Allow users to change the camera translations from white text on black background to black text on white background.
This way you'll find your pinned translations and your translation history when you open the app on another device.
From user comments such as:
- Pinned translations should be backup either by Google or Microsoft account. It's very difficult when you reinstall the app and there is no pinned translations.
- I translate on my iPhone and I wish I had access to these translations on my iPad. My suggestion is that you allow users to tie their Microsoft Account to the Translator app.
- backup pinned translations
The app is in the language of my choice but the FAQ isn't. Can you please change that as well?
Translate Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to my language
In translator popup there is no speaker icon next to word to be translated,
there is only speaker icon for translated word. Why you don't allow users
to hear translate from word? If I translate from English to my native
Polish, I would like to hear pronunciation of an English word I don't know
and thus need to look up. I think it is quite natural. Google translate got
it really well (not trying to offend but rather to prove my point)
I wish we could have audio for both source and destination language.

Is it possible to save in text data in the live chat? You want to use as the minutes.
How do I write Japanese kanji into the translator? I can't type it in because I can't pronounce it which would enable me to type it phoneticaly and select the kanji character from the selection generated by the keyboard. Google Translate allows you to hand write letters and kanji.

Microsoft Translator on Android and Android Wear now supports transliteration for Chinese (Simplified), which means you can get Pinyin characters for Mandarin translations. Please download the latest version and try it out.
add pinyin to the bing translator website
about not being able to copy and
paste the translated text. After some experimentation I discovered that
the text is indeed copied however the app doesn't tell you or give any
clues that anything had happened. I discovered that the text is indeed
copied by going into another app and pressing on the screen and I got a
prompt to paste. When I selected paste the translated text was shown.
Perhaps on future versions you can add something that lets you know that
the text is copied.

How do I get the app on my Android phone to communicate with my smart watch
To be able to save the translations you have made by using camera translations with your Android device.
Why pictures translation text cannot be copied. And why not voice broadcast?
Would like to see some improvements with picture translations. The ability to copy translated pictures and to have voice after translating picture.
1) Will you enable Sort and Search capabilities on History? It would facilitate users to find their saved translation much easier;
