How to use Microsoft Translator when you are offline

When you are offline and would like to translate please do the following.

iPhone:
o Tap Microsoft Translator
o Tap the Keyboard icon on the main screen
o Choose the from-language by tapping on the language on the bottom left of your screen.
o Tap on the language that you would like to translate from the list that appears.
o Tap Done
o Choose the to-language by tapping on the language on the bottom right of your screen.
o Tap on the language that you would like to translate to from the list that appears.
o Tap Done
o You will now see both the from language and the to-language at the bottom of your screen.
o Tap Type to translate at the top of your screen and a keyboard appears.
o Type the sentence you would like to translate and tap Done.
o The translation appears in the middle of you screen.

Android:
o Tap Microsoft Translator
o Tap keyboard
o Tap the from-language. This is the language on the left side of the arrow.
o Tap the languages you would like to translate while offline.
o Tap the checkmark icon
o Tap to enter text
o Type the text you would like to translate

Windows Phone:
o Tap Microsoft Translator
o Tap keyboard
o Tap the from-language. This is the language on the left side of the arrow.
o Tap the languages you would like to translate while offline.
o Tap the checkmark icon
o Tap to enter text
o Type the text you would like to translate
o Tap the black arrow pointing right.
o The translation appears in the middle of your screen.

Note: When translating while offline do not use (Detect) as your 'from-language' but choose one of the languages you have downloaded for off-line use.

Offline language packs work in Text and Camera Translation. They will not work in Voice or Conversation.
