You can use google speech engines for text to Cantonese and Cantonese to English on Android but you have to use two phones to set up a spoken conversation between a Cantonese speaker and an English speaker - can you provide a bidirectional translation on one phone so that one phone such that translation can be done in either direction without swapping the languages which are specified unidirectionally for translation with the microphone icon mode Note google text to speech and speech to text can handle a mixture of English and Cantonese. can you ignore the output from the phone of your translated audio spoken by googles engine?

Translation of simple "What is your name" from English to Cantonese (Traditional) written is correct but verbal is wrong. Can we have Cantonese (Hong Kong) verbal translations?

Hong Kong Chinese speak Cantonese, it is about time you got the language right. See your settings for Simplified Chinese- voice language dialect. It is not as if it is a minor language.

I changed my Voice language dialects to Chinese simplified(Hong Kong) but it still speaks Po tung waa (Mandarin)

Please take the term "繁體中文" away from Cantonese language, and name "粵語(傳統中文)" instead.

Reason1: Cantonese is a kind of traditional Chinese language, it has only one written method for Cantonese which is traditional honzi (傳統漢字, Traditional Chinese characters), simplified Cantonese doesn't exist in Cantonese.

Reason2: the name "繁體中文" potentially makes people think that Cantonese has "simplified written method" like mandarin is written in simplified Chinese.

So i recommand to remove "繁體中文" for Cantonese language in Chinese interface, and name it "粵語(傳統中文)" instead.

I think bing misunderstood Cantonese language of Chinese translation. What I mean is bing translate should put Cantonese TTS voice back to Hong Kong Chinese, because Cantonese is main Chinese language in Hong Kong.

And please be awared that Cantonese voice applys to Cantonese language and traditional Chinese (written form).

The main point of this feedback is requesting bing translate to provide Cantonese TTS voice for both Cantonese and Chinese translations.

Definitely, I want the voice in Cantonese when I select the voice option as "Chinese Traditional (HKSAR).

This app is missing the Cantonese Traditional. It's misleading b/c it says that Cantonese Traditional is supported but it's only supported on the website and on the phone app.

Cantonese support is found on iOS and Android but not Windows desktop & mobile. Please add that.

Actually couple weeks ago, I can get Cantonese voice (male or female) for my translated message. However, this voice option was suddenly stopped.

yes, please bring back Cantonese voice for Chinese and Cantonese translation, Cantonese doesn't need mandarin!

Bing translate keeps speaking in mandarin even I chose Chinese (Hong Kong) as its speech language, it is ridiculous !

Make it right, let Chinese (Hong Kong) and Cantonese translation speak in Cantonese, please !
