Fix how it decides what the page original language is
Currently it appears to decide the original page language using either meta-tags or by reading some of the top text on the page. This doesn't work well on forums where the page heading is English but the posts are in Spanish (or another language). It decides the page is in English and won't let you override it and tell it to translate from the other language to English. It should either scan the entire page looking for non-default language text or at least let us tell it the original language.
I, too, am having this problem!!!!! It will not let me change the original language!

This idea needs to be at the top. I've had this extension for maybe 5 minutes, and because I visit a few Japanese language sites, and the added bonus that they sometimes use English words, Translator does what it does, blocks changing the "From" language, and I'm stuck translating English to English. Until a user can change what language Translator translates "From", this extension is being held back from realizing it's full potential.
