Thanks for your messages and comments on the Microsoft Translator forum.

Please know that the app follows the language of your device. If your device is in the Arabic language the app will be as well.

If this is not the case, please let us know and we’ll investigate further.

    Best regards,

Thanks for your feedback. It is much appreciated!

Please know that automatic Translations are usually of a lower quality than professionally translated texts, however the software learns from corrections and constantly improves its output. It can make errors, especially when the phrase lacks context.

You can learn more about the changes we made in translating Arabic as a neural translation language here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/translator/mt.aspx#nnt

Thanks for your message on the Microsoft Translator Forum. Your feedback is important to us and your request to slow down the speed at which a translation is spoken is now available on both Microsoft Translator for Android (app version 3.1.252 and higher) and Microsoft Translator for iOS (app version 3.0.8 and higher).

    It works as follows:
    - Translate a sentence from any of our supported languages to one of the following languages:
    o Arabic
    o Catalan
    o Chinese Mandarin
    o Danish
    o Dutch
    o English
    o Finnish
    o French
    o German
    o Italian
    o Japanese
    o Korean
    o Norwegian
    o Polish
    o Portuguese
    o Russian
    o Spanish
    o Swedish

    - Tap Enter
    - Tap the Speaker icon and wait for the translation to be spoken
    - You’ll notice a play icon (a small triangle) appear in the speaker icon.
    - Then tap the Speaker icon again and notice that…

  5. Most of the Arabic translation is a disaster!

I can tell this Arabic translation memory was done by an Egyptian-Arabic speaking person with no knowledge of grammar and doing all kind of mistakes!!!

  9. Improve hungarian, it's currently rubbish!

There aren't many hungarian speakers in the world, so it's probably not a priority, but please, please, please improve the quality of translation, otherwise I won't be able to speak to my in-laws!!

    Thanks

    David

Forecast is associated with weather, so in Finnish and Hungarian it is translated as weather, however, forecast is more an outlook, projection, estimation.
